I'm fairly new to making signatures, all I've really done in terms of graphic design experience is making sigs for d2jsp people. And looking at some tutorials.

Anyways I wanted to come the the pros and ask them to give me constructive criticism. I've come to a roadblock on this signature and not sure what else to do.

Let me know what you think i could have done better, what i can still do, and just any general tips to help me learn.

Very dark, very blurry, composition is in dire affair, typography is slapped into the bottom corner (bad idea...until you get better just avoid words all together). Study rule of thirds, colour wheel, using layer masks, etc, etc. My advice is to follow more tutorials and replicate what they make as best you can, not your spin off of what you watched them do. If you do this when first starting off it develops bad habbits. Most important is to keep trying, it will only get better with practice.

DB_odin has some decent tuts listed in his profile and I believe he crafted a thread explaining the basics...Can't find it, however.

I checked out the basics tutorial by DB but the picture was too small for me? Not sure why but it was nearly impossible to read the smaller text.

Idk if it's my browser or what? But zooming in didn't help.
