Probably very stupid questions but for some reason I feel the need to still ask them.

Mainly just looking for opinions I guess.
Anyways.

I really want to learn how to draw seeing as how I've always been a huge fan of art.
I can't draw worth shit and I was wondering if you think drawing is just something you can pick up or it's either you can do it or you can't?
I don't really have a sturdy hand but I'm wondering if it will just come over time?
I also don't know where I should begin learning. Should I just start drawing still life? Lamps, Fruit, ect..
Any suggestions would be great. I'd really appreciate it.

I also work from 3-11 so I can't really go out and just take art classes seeing as how I do not have the time.

Also a really important question I'd like to get an answer for is do you think I should begin with learning how to draw with paper on paper? or just jump straight to digital and use a tablet?
Considering digital is where I'd like to end up drawing most the time anyways.

Anyways.. hope I can get some opinions and I hope these aren't really dumb questions ><.
Thanks.

I'll check it out tomorrow when I'm more awake though not gonna lie it'll be hard for me to follow a book. A.D.D kicks in horribly.
Though I will try. I'd really love to be able to learn.
Thanks tons for the suggestion :)

Everyone can learn to draw. Some people just have to work bit more than others but everyone can do it eventually.

You can start with drawing, i would begin with it.

I'd say paper first but i don't really know much about digital part. Just pen and pencil seems and is as simple as it can be, no need to waste money on tablet or anything. Few pencils, eraser, sharpener and paper-block. With 10 bucks you would be good to go for a long time.

Well thing is I already have a tablet.
I got it a couple years ago as a gift. It's not the greatest thing in the world and it's pretty small but.. it's a tablet.
I've also posted here more than once of me trying to learn but I gave up and got frustrated.
I really want to try and stick with it this time so I'm trying to get as much information and motivation as I possibly can.

I also do plan on going out soon and picking up some good pencils, pens, markers.
Just wanna make sure it's a good idea to do that and learn that way first before going digital, or just do both at the same time or just not even bothering with paper.

When I reached the point where I decided I want to learn to draw, I went to local art store, bought myself pencils from H6 to B9, some kneadable erasers and few other goods and started drawing. I wasn't good at it by any means but I learned a lot by browsing dA for tutorials and with help of people here and it's not really how much you know about drawing before starting but how much you want it. You will learn everything you need in time, just start from somewhere and do it every day. Get sketchbook, carry it with you, draw anywhere you get an idea. Draw objects, people, animals - anything you see. I printed out parts of books about drawing and carried them with me with my sketchbook. Used to draw anywhere - at school, in park, at home and work and anything i found somewhat catching.

Don't overthink it for yourself, just start and you'll get somewhere.

Thanks a lot for the info.
Also I will try to pick up pencils and sketchbooks and what not sometime this week.
I'm home all week from work cause I'm sick so it should give me time.
