And preserve transparency?
I'm trying to use "Save for Web" and use PNG-24, otherwise I get a weird white border roughly 4px surrounding the whole image.
Currently, with default PNG-24 settings, I get 92.55KB, I need to make the 70KB mark for d2jsp sig rules.
Any tips guys?

Use Posterize.

upload on punypng or pngshrink, it removes unused colors and reduces the file size a lot without losing tons of quality.
