I am trying to export a logo that will be used for print into indesign and the quality is being lost but the file is 29mb? Also it doesnt seem to show as transparent.

does anyone know if i need to change the way i export in Ai

you should be able to import an ai file into indesign, but it's best to use a pdf or eps, assuming it's a vector. if the logo is 100% vector, then go to save as > pdf > set to smallest file size.

edit: just realized you talked about lost quality. logos should never be images/raster if that is the case.

edit2: are your display settings low in indesign? go to to view > display performance > high quality if you want to see it clear. they're pixilated so the program runs faster.
