So I finally got my pen back and can use my tablet again :)
im not very good at digi painting but Im gonna try to practice more now that my exams are through :D
I would appriciate C&C as I am looking to get better


Started off with the cliche'd sphere lol


Then I tried to draw my hat



Im having a lot of trouble making the shadows :/

Also I hate photobucket, slows down my computer is there a better place to upload pics at?

like the actual cast shadow from the item onto a surface it looks weird imo on both sphere and hat

Possibly because its not blended, and it doesnt go from a dark from directly under the sphere to light as its casting away.

It's just like drawing .-. always keep a reference in mind, if i find the picture i use for spheres ill drop it here.

yeah i agree
is there any way to work on that other then practice?
in art class we did perspective drawings and i hated them cuz everything was so square

also i tried to draw this teddy bear, last one today cuz i have to study for my mktg class but c&c plz
iso suggestions/tips/anything :)

Do shapes, keep it simple for now.
