I just started to partice pathing on illustrator i finished the path like a week ago i just colored it. i think it looks cool :P

it was vectored with the pen tool and pathfinder palette. technically it is tracing and he didn't create the original illustration, but if i had to guess this is probably 200+ layers of shapes depending on how he made it since there are some different methods.

when you're working in illustrator, avoid using stroke weight to fill your line work, because it defeats the purpose of vector illustration

yea its somewhere around there. the reason i was practicing it was because im going to cut it on a vinyl machine. wont be colored though lol

Looks solid to me.
Might be a few lines that could be slightly better.
