Does anybody use these softwares?

I'm looking for a specific settings, having an i7 720qm processor and 8 Gb of Ram, how should I set the amount of memory per thread?

By default is set to 400 Mb, but since the i7 has 8 Threads (4 phisical and 8 virtual), it would be like 50 Mb per thread.
