Not sure if this should be posted here but i'll give it a shot anyway.

There are some wedding photos online from a professional photographer and on the pictures is kind of blended in to the photo it says "copyright whatever whatever company 2012". The pictures are insanely over priced, is there any way to remove that stuff on the picture so I can print them myself?

I understand that, and i'm not normally one to steal, but to be honest, i'm not spending $12 for 1 photo, that seems a little like robbery.

Regardless of the price, it's illegal to alter an image that is under copyright protection (removing a watermark).

When you consider the price of the equipment then put whatever price tag you want on an individuals time who took the photo plus whatever training they've done to be able to offer such service, 12 bucks seems pretty damn cheap. Stop being a cheap person trying to rip someones work off. Not sure what kind of response you thought you'd get from a forum like this either lol.

Well considering that this person got paid to be at the wedding to begin with, I'm going to go ahead and say that your entire response is invalid, aside from anything mentioning that "ripping of someone's work" because I do agree with that.

So now you're trying to say that you paid a photographer and that now he wants more money for the pictures he took? I've never heard of paying someone to do a shoot then them wanting more money so maybe instead of trying to get others to help you in breaking the law on a public forum and then trying to back peddle in saying he was already paid and now wants more for the pictures you should just get in touch with the photographer. If you've paid for the pictures then they're your pictures I don't get it.

Did you get a set number of photos in paying for him to be there and then these are extra? I'm just saying if he charged you then wants more for the actual pictures then you got ripped off and I'd try for a refund. Either way the sub forum up top Photography might be able to tell you more about it and what your rights are etc. if you've paid the guy already I feel like I'm missing something.

This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

photographers charge too much just to point a camera and click a button... They are all robbing you for money. They act like its hard too lololololol! Big whoop you spent a ton on your equipment, im sure you will make your money back really fast even if they lowered the prices. lol photofags

why are you posting?

to OP it sounds that you want to rip off photos that you did not order from a photographer. If so then you should rethink about posting this here.

if you ordered the photos of your wedding from a photographer and paid him for shooting and now he wants extra money for photos then well, that's kind of fucked up.
