anyone know how to SAVE or what to save the file as, (with PS) custom made icons so that you can go through properties and it shows up as an option under the default Microsoft ones.

just go to where you mod the icon and upload one from the folder its in now

alittle more help? do you mean just go to where i can mod them and find it in there? idk what to save my psd as.

I always just save images as .png and convert them to .ico using a 3rd party program.
I think PS requires a plugin to save images as .ico directly.

hmm, just google, ico converter?

Probs a good bet; however, if you're going to be making an entire batch of icons, it might be worth your time to see if PS supports a .ico plugin.
