I've never heard a girl say this (that's not to say it hasn't happened, it probably has, but just because girls are doing the first part of your statement, doesn't mean that the latter is also true. It looks like you want to vent about people using instagram, (which is a "horrible" program), but you are not presenting the case as, at least to me, it seems to be. Now no one here is likely to use instagram, in fact most people will probably dislike it just as much as you. However, what good will it do venting about it on d2jsp to a circle jerk? It won't do any good. You're just here for a little pity party complaining about instagram. If you really want to accomplish something follow these steps,

1. Go to facebook
2. Find said girl(s) who "take pictures of themselves or others, put a photo filter over it, and say that they're professional photo editors."
3. Click on said girls instagram or similar programs filters
4. Bitch and complain in comments of said pictures
5 ....
6. Profit!)
