Transparency will show when saved as a gif or png, you will want to save as a png.



As long as it is within the limits here on jsp which is less than 70kb and 400x150

If the white is not already transparent Justin explained how that can be accomplished.

If your end result ends up over 70kb use posterize to lower file size.

It's funny that you are the second person I have seen post this question in the past few days, here is where I last explained how to make the background of an image "transparent": http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=62070488&f=34&p=415528333

Basically, you need to select the background of the image (the solid white space) with the magic wand tool or any other mass-selection tools and then press DELETE on your keyboard. Once you have done that, you are free to save the image as a .PNG which will cause the transparency to take effect.

Can i upload it as .png then?
