So some randhat mediator here is on my nuts about my signature being too large in file size. It's a .png file right now and is 129kb. What file format would I have to change it to in order to get to the 70kb limit preferably without losing any quality? Also what program would you recommend for doing this? All I have is the default Paint program that comes with windows 7 and it doesn't do much of anything. Please help me out, I know very little about paint programs or image files. Thanks.

Open it in Paint, save it as JPEG then re-upload it
Should drastically decrease in size

Oh and sorry for reporting it

So I found the drop down tab with save as and all the other goodies which i somehow missed before and I converted it. I don't know if it's just me but it seems to have lost some of its depth. Am I just seeing things or is there some loss of quality?

So is there any way to meet the size requirements without degrading the image?

I just feel like it's an old outdated rule and needs to be updated or forgotten. Whos internet connection is slow enough that loading a 150kb image is too much anymore?

While I do agree with that in your sigs case not worth it.

Gee thanks!
Doesn't matter what it is, no sig should have to be in lesser quality just for sake of the twelve people in the universe that use Netzero.
