As you may know, im a trumpeter so this guy is a big influence. If you dont already, i recommend his music.

you must have some previous experience painting im guessing

irl, i hate painting like on canvas
i cant fucking get on with it

digipainting ive done about 4 pieces now

do quite a lot of pencils though, so some experience of shading +tone etc

well the whole idea was experimenting with faux colouring, impressionist style
but yeah, its kinda creepy

if your background ( purple ) is on a seperate layer

go back with erasor and smooth out that trumpet and out edge of the guy

I myself like the skin/hair color. It makes him look....bluesy.....which I'm sure you were trying to accomplish.
