I've been slowly teaching myself CAD, since I decided to gift myself a 3D printer for Christmas last year (because I was such a good boy!)... FreeCAD is a free, and open source CAD software suite. Linux, and Unix user most likely already know about this, but FreeCAD is for Windows too! I would love it if we could get a 3D-printer and or CAD subforum going.. Would there be any demand for such a space here?

3D printing is like "if you can think of it, you can make it!" type of thing for me.. My struggle has been with learning to use the tools...
