this is cool as! ever worked with metal before?

Well like 10, 11 years ago I did. But I have very little experience. When I was young I had to enter one of these 2 schools -
with metal sculptures as a general subject or with Graphics arts and fine arts so I joined the Graphics art school forgot entirely about sculpting.
So I have some idea how to work with metal but on a very low lever.

nice man, maybe try using some scrap aluminium from a local engineering shop and practice on that? Get a hobbyist hack saw and some sandpaper, maybe a dremel to add some deeper facets into the middle for making miniature weapons
