the colors are spot on, Main thing you need to work on is perspective and proportions
spend a little more time on each piece and give it the detail i know your capable of

How was it like to transition from one to the other, how much of a difference was it?

is oil harder to work with than acrylic? or is it a matter of preference?
i personally have only tried acrylic (my school's too cheap to buy oils)
