What's a good pvm Poe character that can solo as well as play in groups well?

Almost all skills are good. Pick one and build around what you wanna do. Just make sure if you're playing nemesis you stay at or above 275% life.

I'm completely restarting and I haven't played since launch
Idk what anything is, I might look up a build later

best build ive done and the strongest party and solo was physical cannon with 8 aura/conduit. was one of the strongest in anarchy and the build was too expensive for anyone to replicate

but i heard they changed how auras work so yeh can't do it anymore

if you go archer

DO NOT GO LA its a waste cause youre gonna need a second skill for single target

just go frenzy-LMP-added fire-life leech-increased crit dmg (- increased crit chance)
use projectile weakness for mobs

this should still work no matter what
all nodes to life or es whatever you go and physical bow/physical damage
