Also I forgot to mention. I like black and white, because if I actually put in some effort into something, I could get the contrast right, then add color by painting it. It's easy to go from black and white to color.

A surrealist tag I started. Mix of painting in it. Still need to adjust the light on the hand more.

its a really nice start to something that could be wonderful.
its looks really blur'd. i dont mind so much the lack of water detail , as much as the hard mix of sharp to soft
The picture makes me thing its going into a cave lagoon, where theres shadow, theres hardly any reflection....water shimmers, maybe try adding SMALL sparkles here and there.
keep working out the greenery... try to get the edges sharper... this should improve the overall feel.

see how the water reflects the waterfall? this could help.
