He's beyond fixing it at this point


cu_luu1, try flipping the portrait horrizontal in photoshop, you'll see your mistakes. If you don't understand this please let me know, and someone will do it for you. (I havnt PS installed)

how does keeping a mistake help you improve? o_O
mistakes are meant to be learned from, whether it's what to do or what not to do next time, but it's always ok to correct them

u mean this???
like i said her nose little short. if i fixed it, i would move eyes little bit up that make a lot of work, and charcoal is not really quite good to erase. idk wat other u c. most ppl agree her jaw is little wide , but i c it's ok.( just my opinion)

no, imean to keep mistake in the head. if u erased it, u will make it again.( my bad English make ppl confuse)

I think he's saying he is going to keep this draft so he can look back on it and see the mistakes he made on the face as to try and avoid it on his next piece.

Sorry, meant to say horizontally*, helps to get a fresh look at things. Your eyes can sometimes get adjusted to obvious mistakes. Yeah I agree, too late to fix at this stage with charcoal.

This. Use mirror on half face also helps.
