I think you should've chosen another render.

there is two big problems
as tzl said you prolly shoulda used a different render here. the lighting looks strange with a cartoon
and the effects are way more chaotic and lower quality than the tut

Sharpen face more, blurr her ass.
Right now the focal is drawn to the bottom left corner, which is a fail.

Thats always the focal brah. ;)

both are pretty lq though (render/bg), and yeah its def too chaotic.
choose a different render, don't do so much in the bg, and work on the lighting.

That's why i said light was a fail, because if i want to draw attention back to the focal point :

(You can replace the light orb by what you want, it's just an example)
The render's light come from the top left... I think you see the point here :( .
And repaint light / shadow of the render is not an option since i really s*** at painting.

Still good though, best attempt I've seen in this thread.
and I agree on the comment from earlier, blur the ass some, sharpen the face a tad.

I like the depth in the middle area, under her.
But I think it would add more depth if you removed that c4d at the left, and did with that space what you did in the middle.

Thanks for the feedback. I redid it to match the original psd more but the outcome still feels lq for me. Also some steps don't seem to help the overall outlook, but this has been a problem throughout most tutorials I followed... anyhow I hope this version is an improvement :)

Big improvement over the last one
I think its oversharpened though, and you need to cut out the render better, I can see an outline on her - sometimes it helps to use masks and the eraser tool

Notice how in the psd the pentooling is the same color as the red at the top, imo change your pentooling to orange and mess with it until you get a better result.
