Yeah, it's boring and I hated it as much as I hate Two Towers. But they serve their purpose. There was just no need to draw it out.

I'm more annoyed that they make up random shit that has nothing to do with what Tolkien wrote

i dont see why i thought she was just a side show

also only thing i seriously disliked was the barrel scene
they mixed in shitty first person views in there and made it terrible

desolation of smaug is easily the worst LOTR movie yet.. i felt it was alright to do some of the extra story but stuff like the shitty camera work (barrels FP) and directing this time (constantly cutting to a different place every 5 mins when it isn't immediately necessary)...

girl was cool but did anyone struggle to get over the fact legolas looked much older this time

at the end of the first hobbit, smaug had a purple/blueish face/eye
now he's all brown
fucking weird
