because there is such thing as copyright law, what grade are you in?
Designers of his calibre arent paid by the hour, im talking about ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) its a film studio, studios like ILM (Star wars, Pirates of the carribean, Spiderwick chronicles) , Activision and Midway games (mortal kombat) are paid a little bit differently than your average burger flipper. Its salary, plus a little commission if the film or game is successfull.
And its not about me being right or wrong, im educating you about something that you seem to know little about, to help you understand.
Stell, whenever you talk about these things, you're always talking about LITERALLY 200-300 or so people in the WORLD who have that job with those companies, if even that.
NOBODY here is going to have a job like that, and if anyone does, it won't be for years and years.
Same goes for graphic design. Chances are you're just going to end up designing cereal boxes, and that's if you're lucky and good. Better chances are you will be designing flyers for mom & pop businesses, shirts for companies that distribute to a local area only, or arranging text in a magazine or newsletter that five people read. Certainly the more school you do the better off you'll be, but nothing is written in stone.
