I have no interest in mini-modding; however, as a designer I feel obligated to remedy your blatant ignorance regarding ripping.
If an artist does not want you to use their work and you do so, it's ripping, regardless of the extent to which you edit the original piece.

Furthermore, just because the original artist does not have a JSP account does not mean it's not ripping. It is.
JSP might not take action on an off-site rip, but the graphic community will rightfully label it a rip.

how is taking a picture and using it like i did any different from taking a pic from google and using it?
PLEASE EXPLAIN. I edited the pic, it's not the exact same. people take pics off google... edit them.. THAT"S WHAT I DID NOW STOP CRYING.

In this case, the artist clearly did not want you to use their artwork, hence the "DO NOT USE." text.


Some images taken from Google for signatures are probably copyrighted and technically using them would constitute ripping; however, many stocks/renders are available for public use.
A rule of thumb amongst designers is that any image from DeviantArt should not be used without the artists permission.
