The songs will forever remain the livid, drone-pop songs that druggidly drag a chorus with lyrics that you can't make out as guitar and organ bleed over it all for somewhere between 5 to 7 minutes--sounds good? The album reminds me a bit of Brian Eno's pop stage meets The Velvet Underground (or The Stone Roses on a jam session, for that matter), as it drags through a glow of sunshine amongst a wall of static TVs. It's like falling into a pool on a summer day and you think it's going to be too cold--it always is--and in those brief moments your body adjusts between fear and euphoria.
