how about the smudge or is too basic?

you're doing pats tut? thats what it looks like

Nah was just trying to figure it out, it's kinda awkward for me

Try to grab you want and stroke it

Use larger hard brush strokes for your movements
Small hard brush for detail

95-98% strength is what me and pat use

take off smoothing for your brush settings.

also no flow again.

right side came out nice though the color incorporation is nice too

Also change spacing to 1%.

Ok will do guys and I'll try and redo he left, which way does the flow go though
I thought I had it right o.o

With smudge you create whatever flow you want, you just have to make it interesting. Don't make it diagonal in a straight line.
