the colours need some workk because its too "brushed" in
instead of smudged in

My first ever sprite tag, didn't follow a tut or anything, just went crazy with stuff, hope that doesn't reflect my outcome too bad because I like it

Original background:

No tuts or psds for this one, just going off what I remember as well as experimenting, I kinda like the smudging, but the overall tag is too dark maybe
I also need to work on adding colors, I can never get it looking good

but Idk, I think if I actually made pink smudge lines earlier in the tag it could have worked better



or toning down the pink, idk what i'm doing, I'd have to rework the tag to add colors

No tut again, just trying to remember Sane's tut as best I could so some parts may be a little different, I like doing it myself rather than using tuts

edited some color to help blend and added a couple small clipping masks

edit: fuck just realized I should have flipped the smudge on the right side vertically, so it flows with the render not the sword :/
