This guy is correct.
The instructions of this tutorial are very bland, and hard to make out, and understand exactly what he wants you to do.
When he asks you to use the Linear dodge layer, he doesn't specify if you use white, or a blue, or a purple, or a green..
Again im following these directions to a T, and using all resources given to us, and mine looks like fucking garbage.
:/
E: I've re read this tutorials 4 times before going and doing it.
I'm on an half and a half now doing this, and it's very confusing.
Using the resources given and him asking us to put the C4D on darken, it looks nothing like his..
I can't see the tut so I'm only assuming.
The reason he likely doesn't specify what colour he is using on the linear dodge is because the tut is not meant for you to replicate the tag.
It's created so that you can learn and create your own tag. You have to learn to experiment with the colours and see what looks best.
Whatever colour he used is not necessarily what will look best on your tag, so try and experiment yourself.
Don't compare what you've made to the maker of the tut. Remember (s)he has likely spent a lot more time on tagging than you have.
Skill isn't learned simply by reading a tutorial. You have to practice and experiment and see what looks best.
A tutorial isn't about what colour was used on linear dodge on layer 13, it's about learning how to use linear dodge in order to accomplish a certain look for a tag.
