Is it worth working with blender or are there other programs suited for character modeling? (ones used to model video games characters, etc...but i assume they use a wide range of programs)

Well, a really REALLY nice program... for modelling ... its called..Zbrush..its not free.. its over 1000 dollars lol. but if you want the best of the best this is it

$1000 is np.

so would be going right to the best be better or worse? I would have no problem messing around in blender until zbrush, but if they are totally different programs then there is no point.
