Put it that way. Sink costs 65€ in my country plus two high CFM fans are nearly 35€ (corair ones). That makes 100€ for an air-cooler. I could get myself a loop for double that money. Now, Megahalems is a good sink and even better with good fans but I am not sure if I just want to throw another 100 for another heatsink. Rather keep it and get something better in future. Basically my advice to anyone - get 212EVO or if it isn't exactly on par with your needs, put some money into loop.

Honestly I had two high CFM deltas on mine, and I noticed very little performance difference between one and two fans. I really don't see anything much better coming out. To each his own though. Just don't go with cheap water cooling.

Yeah, but little difference can be big difference for some. :)

Won't have to go cheap, helps to have friends who can make shit for less money than stores sell. Most likely going to make CPU and GPU block myself (or well, let a friend do it), that is going to cut a lot of money.

For 250€, you can get a decent setup without GPU block.

I don't know if I would trust something like that. I run a gtx 670 so would rather just buy my block :p

It isn't so hard to make on a cnc bench. Especially for a guy who have made those things before.

Google "Akula PC build" to see hardware porn :)

edit# Did it for you - https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/17364-project-akula/

edit#2 I won't deal with my loop before some hardware upgrades and a case that actually will fit my loop. Having some upgrades in my mind but have not yet decided.

* Prolimatech Megahalems Black
* Prolimatech Mk-26 Black
* Corsair Air Series SP120 CPU fans
* Corsair Air Series SP120 GPU fans
- Corsair Air Series AF140 Case fans
* Fractal Design Define R4 Black Side-window
- SeaSonic X 650W Modular
- MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming
- Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
- Corsair Vengeance Black 2x4GB
- 2nd Samsung 840 EVO 120GB for Raid0

*Incase of air-cooling

Will work on loop parts once I am sure I will make one. Going to work more on it when deployment ends.

Could as well just mod one. A lot easier and comfy when you have a base to rely on. :)

I considered that too. Buying some black acrylic to make boxes to hide power supply and stuff in my current case.

My main concern is to find a case that is easy to work with to fit a loop in it. Not going to cut it in four to do it.
