Nothing stresses my CPU to 100% except stress-testing, though. If he is not OCing, he could aswell get away with 212EVO without fans. Megahalems IS very good cooler, even more it is in top line of heatsinks but still not as good as waterloop.

Under cover of secrecy, I am either getting myself Magehalems, too, or just build custom loop. I like halems because it looks good and does very decent job for the money. What I don't like about it is that I will spend much money on cooling with that and fans and still be on air. Might as well spend a little more and put everything under water.

A decent water loop will cost more than 3 x the price of a megahalem. Radiator, block, pump, reservoir and fittings. That's around 250-300 right there alone, let alone adding in a gpu block as well. I think I spend around $350-$400 on my water loop.

Put it that way. Sink costs 65€ in my country plus two high CFM fans are nearly 35€ (corair ones). That makes 100€ for an air-cooler. I could get myself a loop for double that money. Now, Megahalems is a good sink and even better with good fans but I am not sure if I just want to throw another 100 for another heatsink. Rather keep it and get something better in future. Basically my advice to anyone - get 212EVO or if it isn't exactly on par with your needs, put some money into loop.
