Well this sucks, i just got a mail that i am not accepted on gfx and media school. Too much people signed for the class i was going for, and i know like 40% won't even bother coming there. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCK

Nah you learn how to do prints learn about colours, learn design on macs(dont like this part). You can go there when you are like 18 so no portfolio needed.

Thought about going to arts school but prereqs and portfolio request + app test is a fucking suicide. On the second thought... i think that maybe i could just practice for whole year, make portfolio, get a job, and i apply for next y school semester. Will think about it.

Weird, i know for uni we had to write a fuckin essay, show a portfolio and do an interview :p. and this was when i just left highschool at like 17.

Yes for art uni its damn hard. + 20 paintings all in certain size different styles and techniques, you can also add some of your other work if you wish. If portfolio dimensions exceeded the requested ones in any way it is removed from selection, that gives 30%, 60% is the art ability test, you have to draw postimpresionistic pic of table and fruit etc-tihožitje-dunno eng word, a model (pencil), typography (like Key written in a shape of a key or whatever), 2 pictures that represent contrast, and a random work that changes every year. Oh and grades from be4 influence only 10%
