Bring earplugs. And maybe extra tissue to stuff in your ears.

Actually, wearing ear plugs at a gig is a good idea anyway.

I used to rave without ear plugs, fuck doing that now though. Was so glad I wore some after standing in front of a stack of Funktion 1's for about 7 hours earlier last year.

To illustrate my point, this is just what 4 speakers used to do in Corsica studios before they really soundproofed the building.



The entire bathroom used to vibrate.

This is what a stack looks like, there were 4 of these in the room.
