very good tip
flipping the canvas horizontally lets you see errors better

very usefull add for the tip. set the hotkey in the preferences at photoshop so when u hit f1 it flips horizontally, f2 verticaly and use if often :)

oil self portrait

about 3 hours in or so? i know i know... got to fix eyes.... 3/4ths is hard :9

Try light from top left next time, maybe add some bg lighting so your push your whole face into focus.Some transitions could be done more smoothly. Props on oil, i can't do it for shit. :D


...maybe next time try less extreme contrast on face, so your skill will show more.

its lighter in person, and bg has some color not just black haha..... camera phone is only thing i have atm :(
