I like the left one better just because it has some personality. The right one is professional but more in a calculated sense, like something you would see on a science exhibit sign.

I highly favour the second one, the first one takes too much away from your painting.

I would honestly consider the first one.

I feel the second one is to bland and the title of the show is too extended from the information. I feel people would look at the picture and disregard the information cause its not as aesthetically pleasing.

The first one is well layed out and I think will be fine to print on 11x17. Everything is alligned well and weighted properly. It also looks really good.

Although it may take a little away from the painting, you need people to still have the want of figuring out where it comes from and possibily where to go to find more of it. I think the first poster does a better job of looking nice and leading the viewer to look at the painting as well as draw the eye to the information.

With that said I'd pick poster 1.
