No.

The best advice I can give you is to never erase. Cut the eraser off your pencil and draw like there is no tomorrow.

Mess up? Keep drawing. Fuck it up so bad you can't see what you're doing anymore? Scrap it and draw again.
Do NOT get attached to any of your drawings. Consider everything in your first year steaming dog crap so you don't try to stick to something that's not working.

It's really just a rigorous process and your goal should never be to post something that looks good.

Your goal should be to post something that's an improvement of your last piece.

Do what everyone in this thread has been saying and draw a million sketches, the quality is insignificant. In this case, quantity > quality.

Just wanted to say sorry to the 4 pages of this thread and all the people who've told me this, but I didn't open my eyes to realize it >.>

atleast he is pumping out a page full of sketches, thats what we like to see

as for the heads, remember that the eyes are located halfway down the far INCLUDING the jaw, not just halfway down the circle that you draw to represent the cranial mass. The eyes will actually be closer to the bottom of the circle

look at some peoples heads in real life and try to sketch them, notice that foreheads are huge. A common beginner mistake is to shrink open spaces and make the nose bridge too long. Measure your proportions, if something looks wrong the first time, dont re draw it the same exact way, figure out why its wrong and draw a new one correctly
