on a serious note dogs eat shit, it's kind of a thing they do. being serious.
nothing wrong with it to them because dogs are way better than we are at harvesting minerals out of shit (pun sort of intended)

i certainly wouldn't hit my dog over it, though.
i'd just hold it over his head and tell him he ate shit one time so he feels bad about himself when we fight and have dominance issues in the house.

my huskies never did that in their life. first time my pug did it either.

like toddler said they extract minerals out of them way better then we ever could, alot of dogs do it but not everyone I suppose. Also this is why I dont let dogs lick me ever.
