I kind of like where it's going at least. What do you guys suggest I should do to spice up the background? A c4d to give it flow maybe?

cool colors, but the render is useless here. to get something cool out of this you will have to have a better render, some typo and some shit on top that you can overlay that background on

instead of adding a sharpen after
what i would recommend is shapening each smudge layer after you are finished with it
because now the render is over sharpened

Yeah I noticed that too. I can just go back and erase the sharpen layer in spots that are to sharp.


It's a lot easier to do it all at the end though. If you over sharpen layers individually it's harder to fix.
