improvement over try1 but still a ways to go

try 2 is wayyy better.. the colors are cool in the second one unlike the first one where its ugly and overcontrasted. the compo is still needs a lot of work though

i hope people are just busy and not dodging this assignment because it is hard or something, we will help you!

nn dodge. Twas busy irl most of the week, but finally caught a break tonight so... I attacked this for like 3 hours till my brain sizzled on a psd from that resource pack you posted...I picked one I couldn't even understand 6 layers of and then tried my damnedest to figure it out. Totally epic class you are hosting, I have learned immeasurable amounts since following. Here is a copy of the psd I studied and my outcome. @ Mitch, yours is close as far as compo.. the lighting is off. Light sources should not cover shadows on the stock
also try working with more colorful lighting

@ funk, way to grainy... making it very chaotic. I feel like you could have done more with the stock
not to impressed at the psd either.
