not that its good to see someone shoot a dog but lets be serious, what was he trying to do starting shit with the cops for no apparent reason?

It's not fucking illegal to record a cop in public, they had no right to even approach him let alone arrest him

Because they are. Cops have proven time and time again that they can do whatever the fuck they want and there is nothing that you or I can do about it and posting some video online isn't going to change that.

I know, there are much worse videos too but still wtf
you are more likely to be killed by a cop without even breaking a law than a terrorist ._.
and half the time it isn't even an accidental thing

there was a ton of other people recording video as well so you'd have to be somewhat dumb to say that. lets notice the differences in where the other recorders were standing, whether they were intentionally ignoring police requests to back up, and whether they were hovering closely to an active crime scene.

not to mention a dog lunging at them as they arrest him (the owner)

while i'm not going to say the dog should have been shot, when should the owner have rolled up his windows so the dog doesnt fly out into a crime scene, or just not put himself in a dumb situation like that.

He put the dog in the car to get it out of the way, unfortunately it jumped out to naturally protect its owner
none the less, there was no police line/do not cross area and recording a cop in public is 100% legal
what I'm saying is, there was no reason for an arrest, and what the police did was unlawful
shooting the dog just made it worse

they were i believe trying to get him to back up from the crime scene to protect themselves and him, per their job. they wouldnt likely have time to put tape up around an active crime scene block, usually that comes later, so they were asking him to back away i bet so they didn't have to watch him to make sure he doesnt try to come further in (distracting them while trying to secure a crime scene). I HIGHLY doubt they put him in cuffs in that instance because he had a cellphone in his hand and there were a dozen more people filming. when did anyone even say it was illegal to record them

e/ per the article aparently they also asked him to turn his music down, which as we all know is cool to do when you are at a police scene in california, a place full of corrupt cops... lets just antagonize them / do something possibly arrest worthy anyways
