Yeah, that'd probably explain your crazy prices, although it seems about the same as you'd pay in average areas of London. Girlfriend used to live in LA, no idea ho she could afford it, she wasn't exactly payed much when she was there, specially seeing as she wasn't a US citizen.

Because I'm only 18 and I have an odd look about me, a lot of places will hire one of the hundreds of immigrants that will work just as hard for cheaper.
