how do i improve the RAM usage by my photosho[p?

i saw this posted in a previous thread..... i want to reduce some damn lag

edit->preferences->performance

or might be some other than edit, but preferences.

you can also change the cache things and stuff. no idea what they really do but made large size brushing a hell of alot less laggy

Sadly i cant prove it. 2 weeks ago i had to realise that my digital camera is not beer resistant :(
