sorry it felt like you were trolling lol

He's been here just long enough to know when the elder fags say something nice, 99% of the time it's trolling, they are learning O.o

Honestly though, you are showing improvement. Keep at it, it takes time. In general, it is 'known' that you need to spend 10,000 hours doing something before you have the practice to be seen as a 'master' at it. So don't stop just because you don't like current results, keep at it until you DO like the results, then keep going to make us hate ourselves for not being able to do it.

Experimenting is good, and it is fun.

But if you're drawing for the sole purpose of improvement, at this stage you want to make sure you have a solid reference you can copy from and aren't trying to take any creative liberties until you know what you can get away with. If you want to try a character with more naturalistic proportions/anatomy then go for it and show me the reference, I can show you how to break down those forms as well. It's really the same process when drawing cartoony or realistic, being disciplined about your order of operations and going from simple to complex, big to small.

Also I want to put a little disclaimer that I am in no way a master, you don't have to listen to me if you don't want and theres no "right" way to do it and blah blah. But I am sure that I can help you.
