looks like you tryin to get depth but can't grasp it. they seem empty as well. you don't modify your renders at all?

i feel like theres something very wrong with this one.

E: Also I don't recommend reading right through it, I've gotten the most use out of it from just going to a certain section when I'm stuck on a particular part of a signature I'm working on or something
and it's not really a guide to photoshop as it says, it's focused on signature making
