are the waves breaking against shore? or close to it?

is it a storm? why is it blue sky if stormy

lol i wasn't really intending on stormy, just really windy indicated by those huge ass storm clouds rolling in though
and the right most wave is just the closest to the screen
i'm not too sure how to shape the water yet :/

This, I was also confused on the waves, looks pretty good already though. Are you going to add some rocks in the water, I think that would make it looks interesting too?
