Took a couple minutes and fixed a couple things.  Still bad.


an hour isnt bad for that.

remember to use bigger brushes


have confidence in your brush strokes, see the choppy shadow? you can eliminate that by using a confident soft brush stroke, also not sure why the shadow curves up with the banana, it should stay flat on the surface its being casted on.

remember you ahve the ctrl+z hotkey to undo, so dont be scared to try some drastic long brush strokes, they can be erased just as easy.

perfect
on a new layer, go over the silhouette of the banana with the background color
make it crisp and form a shape rather than the brush strokes going all over the place
