the perspective is totally off. it looks a bit surreal, the far end of the beach is heading off vertically at a weird angle.
the composition is pretty flat and unsatisfying. it lacks detail and a spicy focal (or two..).
the colours are rather dull (tho not bad), expand your palette.
use references when you're stuck, realism.

ps. large brushes.

OP, you need to learn linear perspective.

google how to do one, two, and three point perspective pieces.

then use some photoshop templates that have the perspective grid lines to make your pieces.

ahh...for some reason i cant find them at the moment, i had some at one point in time...

its good to create your own, if you know how. 2 point perspective is the most commonly used one, and best to learn. you should probably stay away from 3 and 4 point for a bit.

there are tutorials on how to do it, just google two point perspective.
