Great progress, all i can say is keep it up! However, i would dare to say you are smudging
You might find that as a problem later on, that's why i am even mentioning anything m8.

no need for the layers mate

i haven't quite got my opacity set in stone, nothing i am too comfortable with, i like doing parts on different layers so i can touch up opacity individually until i am more comfortable with my process

i am dissappoint though- why you lettin thred die?

i still paint with multiple layers, even on my big pieces, i noticed even in alot of nice paintings and painting tutorials they even say they use mroe layers just incase they have to go back and fix something big
