Do you realize the rapid rate we are completely destroying this planet? The fact that we have passed the peak for crude oil and are slowly on the decline is horrifying. Once people realize that the world is going to stop society is going to fall apart and when it does I hope that everyone else is as prepared for it as I am.

iv been in college for 4 years now and never learned anything about our planet being destroyed within the next 100 years

This proves your eyes are still closed. How ling you have spent in college has nothing to do with anything. There can be billions off well funded organizations and I'm sure there are but clearly they aren't doing a damn thing about anything. It's a proven fact that our oil supply is on the decline and until we can find a real replacement as an energy source society will fall apart. hey, but comon bro. not everyone is a honest person. think about it. when you were a kid, and you fucked up... did you not make up lies, or blame someone else for the mishap?

you can relate that to anything really. if you were the cause for destorying the world... would you A. own up and pay for the damages. B. try to resolve the issue before anyone notices.

im in my 4th year this august m8. and even i can tell that some of the things that my professors say, are meant to feed the ear. keep you calm.

my biggest question to you is.. why do we always have celeberaties flooding the media, or new ways to stay physically fit. its to distract you from other problems.
cause i coulda swore we just had a "war" in iraq, but ill be damned... i havent seen a shred of media coverage... and ofc its because the iraq government banned amercian/allied reporters.

but im saying ive gone to a private college where we learn truths that were drastically overlooked or manipulated in high school, so i do have a clearer view of the world than u might imagine
i agree oil will have to be replaced as our main source of energy soon, but there have been huge companies working on alternatives for a long time now
and even if we do terribly fail to come up with another primary energy source, our lesser sources of energy will get us by until then
on top of that, anyone can buy their own solar panels for $300-$1000+ and get by well enough
maybe we'll rely less on electronic entertainment, i dont think that would be a bad thing
i think society has survived more extreme trials in the past
