went shopping for some slabs for table for my mother, she picked out a very nice spalted maple. GORGEOUS

its got crazy marks all over the wood, its going to be an awesome table.

oh wow, that is a nice cut!

did you try the cabinet shops yet for spare wood?
they throw out huge pieces of really expensive stuff!

na, the guy I found sells wood dirt cheep.

No need to dumpster dive just yet, though I don't know of any local cabinet shops
