If the house is new, bring piece of carpet also. Since new, may be easy to match.

Kinda, it's not going to hold up as well as wood will. But if youre just looking to hide, kinda. Make sure to sand and paint after.

Bring it anyway, never know.

I had to fix on the fly once, I broke a couch in half. Had that fucker fixed and reapolstered in 3 hours

I'm more worried about the carpet.
If we can't get it to match, my mom's going to make me pay to re carpet the whole room :l

take carpet from under dresser
move to desired destination
place dresser back over carpetless spot

i don't have a dresser.
